Interview of Nicci Singh (WJAY Gold Dancer) by Risa Gothly
Now we all have a few dances tucked in our inventory and we all have been invited to hop onto someone’s chim. But not any HUD nor dance ball can bring it the way teh WJAY Gold Dancer’s do.
Risa Gothly: Are you the founder of the Gold Dancer?
Nicci Singh: No, Jayce Slade is. It began when a bunch of us wee hanging at one of his sets and were dancing in formation around him. So he decided to try somehting different. I, along with six other dancers are original members. We were the first ones in the group; Aliyah, Beautiful, Evangelina, Brittany, Rita, PyncRai & Kristin tarted the day Jayce came up with the idea.
Risa: When did you join and how long have the WJAY Dancers been around?
Nicci: The group has been around since about the beginning of July.
Risa: Being such a successful gruop, whay works best as far as communicating? How are idea’s shared?
Nicci: We all get along and any decisions we make are as a group ona vote system. We vote members in and we vote on the outfits. There is no one lead dancer or one main dancer. We all have to agree or the majority rules.
Risa: When others see or hear of the WJAY Gold Dancers, what is the image you would like to portray as a group?
Nicci: We want to portray a group of organized, sexy women. We work hard on anything we do and want to show that you do not have to be butt naked on a pole to work tips if you dance. We have fun and whatever DJ you come to see that we are dancing for you will see that we love to have fun no matter what. There is nothing wrong with working on a pole, most of us have done that LOL.
Risa: What do the Gold Dancers provide to the SL community?
Nicci: Like I said, we love to have fun. We provide the audience/patrons of the clud or DJ with not only something sexy to look at be we interact with the crowd and therefore provide entertainment while hyping the DJ.
Risa: What can we expect to see from the Gold Dancers in the furture?
Nicci: Well, you cna expect us to continue to try to entertain and help people enjoy their SL party experience. We are working on dances off of specific songs to be played during some of the events and keeping up with the newest and differnet dances that are out there.
